![]() ![]() ![]() One player with Guard-motor-coordinated just plays on conscripts, weapon squads (t2), guard and 120mm call in, skipping all other tech phases and go for T34/85 call in. Good splash, since veterancy 1 let you rly snipe a whole weapon squad every time you want to, safe up to clear houses and protects you decent from blobbing (since it has no pin, it needs to be connected with 2 Maxims (if the enemy is really blobbing with 5 or more inf squads). Guards are good allrounder inf (shredding the enemy inf on distance with DP28 and destroying cover with PTRSs, while they can pin down enemy tanks and dmg them slightly and work well against push backs of light armored vehicle like half tracks or kubels, since they have AT potential. Most of the russian players are playing with ''Guard-motor coordinate'' call ins (really safe matching with the enemy). So don't push SU85s against Panther (I mean if you are a good player you can handle it, but it's just a target for the Panther while a ZiS is no real target for it). ![]() (It cannot do anything slightly against ZiS for example). The Panther in general is a tank-hunter tank means it's pretty vulnerable against AT-inf which is pushing him. > the t34 can push the enemy infantery back, while you don't have this possibility with the SU85. Why T34? Well it's an allrounder which can get the Panzer4 down with support like ZiS and AT nades (don't get too greedy with it) so you have some back up to safe up this tank. Get a ZiS down, tech AT grenade and have 2 conscripts (at least) and t34. 1) Spam of any kind does not work because that's a OKW thing 2) Russian tanks have nothing on the OKW tanks. How can you counter OKW with the Soviets. Normally (like mentioned before) without any commander based it's simple. How can the Soviets counter the OKW I mostly play the Soviet faction and I have won OKW only 2 times in a 1v1. ![]()
